Rain Likely For Days in Wethersfield

If you enjoy the sun, this forecast isn't for you. Here's the latest details on a wet and still cold forecast.

The forecast for Connecticut for the first week of spring has included bitter cold the past two days, lows in the teens, and, as we head into the weekend there is a mini-warmup, but also the chance of some rain the next five days too.

The National Weather Service says it could rain Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday though we’re talking about showers mostly and it’s not expected to rain all day for each of those five days. Either way, it’s going to be a forecast that features rain and lots of clouds. The next chance to see the sun for a sustained period of time isn’t until late next week, according to forecasts.

WTNH News 8 Meteorologist Gil Simmons wrote, “Temperatures will get into the 40s today and there may be a little touch of rain midday. A couple of snowflakes may mix in across northern Connecticut. No biggie! Dry weather Saturday morning followed by some spotty light rain Saturday afternoon. And unsettled weather Sunday through Wednesday morning.”
