Ring's End Opens in Wethersfield

The chain has opened up a store on Silas Deane Highway.

WETHERSFIELD, CT —Ring’s End Inc. on Monday announced that it has opened a new full-service paint and design center in Wethersfield at the site of the former United Paint & Wallpaper store, 669 Silas Deane Highway.

The store measures 5,000 square feet.

In addition, the store will provide complimentary in-store color and design consultation, Hunter Douglas Shop-At-Home services, and road sales to support contractors on the job.

“Our new Wethersfield location will meet the needs of homeowners and contractors alike, by offering a large breadth of inventory of top quality paints, stains and sundries and an experienced sales team to provide the specialty services that our customers have come to expect. We are excited to continue the tradition of service that United Paint & Wallpaper began over 50 years ago.” said Scott Herling, Manager of Paint Sales & Operations for Ring’s End.

Ring’s End is open even as the building conversion is taking place.

Initially, they will service contractors and homeowners with painting projects. Deliveries will be coordinated through other Ring’s End locations. An updated design and décor showroom will follow shortly thereafter, store officials said.

“It’s exciting to be able to provide so many great design brands and paint options to our customers,” said Frank Cohen, manager of design and decor for Ring’s End. “We’re able to share ideas that reflect the latest trends as well as classic looks in a range of price points that will meet a client’s budget – to help them find the look that’s right for them while having a great shopping experience."

As a family-owned company with 18 locations in Connecticut and Southern New York, Ring's End provides lumber, millwork, building materials, hardware, kitchen and bath cabinetry, paint and painting supplies, architectural hardware, and tools for area contractors, architects, and homeowners.

The company was founded in 1902 in Darien.
