Wethersfield Dental Group Offers Veterans Free Cleanings on May 30

In celebration of Memorial Day, Wethersfield Dental Group is showing its red white and blue spirit by offering FREE cleanings to military Veterans on Tuesday, May 30. The treatment will include a comprehensive exam, X-rays and a regular cleaning. Veterans can schedule a half hour appointment simply by calling the office.

“We hope Veterans will come in for free dental care so that we can show our appreciation for their service,” said owner and dentist Dr. Ukti Phadnis, DMD. “My family immigrated to the United States when I was a child and I am grateful to those who helped make this country great.”

Dr. Phadnis is also honoring Memorial Day by serving as a sponsor of the fundraiser “Hike V” on Saturday, May 20th in Glastonbury. Organized by the Marine Corps League Peter P. Monaco Jr. Detachment 40 non-profit, the annual event helps prevent Veteran suicide. Hikers will meet at St. Paul’s Church at 5 am and will step off for a 22k hike followed by a Community event being held at the Riverfront Community Center from 10:30 am until 2:00 pm. Wethersfield Dental will be onsite providing free toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, and coupons to enter a drawing for a free CUSTOM teeth whitening.

“It is shocking to me that 22 Veterans die each day from suicide,” explained Dr. Phadnis. “I am proud to support this group’s efforts to provide Veterans with the help they need to combat this serious problem.”
