Town Sidewalk Replacement Prices Extended To Property Owners In Wethersfield

Property owners are reminded that per Town Ordinance Chapter 139 - Streets and Sidewalks, owners of land fronting upon any street are responsible to replace, repair or otherwise correct defects in any sidewalk adjacent to their property. The Town's sidewalk contractor, T&T Concrete and Landscapes, LLC, has offered to extend their bid unit prices for 5" Concrete Sidewalk of $12.50 per square foot and 8" Reinforced Concrete Sidewalk (required across driveway aprons) of $14.00 per square foot to property owners who seek to replace damaged, raised and broken sidewalks along their frontage.

To obtain the Town's unit pricing, owners may contact Joe Guerrerra from T&T Concrete at 860-296-3388 or ttconcrete@att.net if they are interested in obtaining a quote. Owners will need to contract directly with T&T or another contractor for any repair work performed.

Owners may also contact Robert Keleher, Sidewalk Inspector, at 860-721-2848 if they have any questions regarding the condition of their sidewalks and need for repair. A list of sidewalk contractors that have worked in Town within the last five years is also available from the Engineering Division upon request.
