Two Cars Stolen In Wethersfield, Juvenile Arrested: PD

Both vehicles were recovered and a juvenile was arrested in connection with the theft, police said.

WETHERSFIELD, CT — Officers arrested a juvenile after two vehicles were stolen in town. Police got two reports of car burglaries between 7 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. Friday.

Rocky Hill Police also received similar reports shortly before 8 a.m.

Wethersfield Police then got reports about two vehicles being stolen from a residence. One vehicle was stolen from the driveway and the other from an open garage. Keys were accessible for both vehicles, police said.

One of the stolen vehicles was located shortly after and a juvenile was seen running from the vehicle. Police apprehended the 14-year-old, and he was charged and released on a juvenile summons.

The other stolen vehicle was found abandoned in another section of town. Police continue to investigate the thefts and car burglaries.
