Verdict Reached In Wethersfield Fatal Shooting Case
The jury has reached a verdict in the case of a Wethersfield man accused of shooting and killing a 16-year-old in 2017.
WETHERSFIELD, CT —A jury acquitted a Wethersfield man of murder but found him guilty of first-degree manslaughter, according to WFSB. Noah Hendron, 20, was accused of waving around a gun at a friend's house in 2017 when the gun went off, killing 16-year-old Vincent Basile.
Prosecutors said two hours passed before the crime was reported to police. They also said Hendron threw the gun, a .38 caliber revolver, in a storm drain and fled the scene, according to FOX 61.
He will face sentencing in January.
