Four businesses and attractions in Hartford County were deemed the best in the state by the magazine's editors.
WETHERSFIELD, CT — Yankee Magazine recently published its annual "Best of Connecticut - 2017 Editors' Choice Awards," citing its top choices in 38 categories of attractions, lodging and dining. Four of the top picks are situated within Hartford County:
- art museum - Wadsworth Atheneum (Hartford)
- barbecue - Bear's Smokehouse (Hartford, Windsor, South Windsor)
- general store - Old Wethersfield Country Store (Wethersfield)
- miniature golf - Matterhorn Mini Golf (Canton)
