Wethersfield Garners Votes in Preseason Baseball Poll
Last year, the Eagles compiled a 15-5 regular season record.

WETHERSFIELD, CT — After an outstanding 2017 regular season was marred by a heartbreaking extra-inning second-round loss in the Class L state tournament, the Wethersfield High School baseball team is looking for redemption this year.
The Eagles did not crack the top 10, but received some voter support in the preseason balloting of sports media members.
Defending Class LL champion Staples received 10 of 11 first-place votes to top the rankings, followed by runner-up Amity Regional, which also garnered a first-place nod.
