Wethersfield Gets Votes in Boys Basketball Poll

WETHERSFIELD, CT — Riding an 11-game winning streak, Wethersfield High School is among the hottest high school teams in Connecticut boys basketball, and has been rewarded with some votes in the latest poll of state media members.

The Eagles (13-2) hit the road twice this week, traveling to Rocky Hill Thursday and Glastonbury Saturday.

For the fifth straight week, East Catholic (16-0) received first-place votes on all 18 ballots to stay atop the weekly poll.

Here are the top 10, plus all other teams receiving votes, with records through Feb. 6:
