Wethersfield Grabs Votes In Boys Basketball Poll
The Eagles opened the season with nine victories in 11 outings.

WETHERSFIELD, CT — A seven-game winning streak has generated some voter support for Wethersfield High School in the weekly statewide boys basketball poll.
The Eagles (9-2) defeated South Windsor and Berlin last week. Wethersfield is on the road Tuesday at Bloomfield, then hosts Hartford Public Thursday and Southington Saturday.
East Catholic (13-0) was again the unanimous top choice of all 19 voters in the most recent balloting after crushing three opponents last week by an average margin of 42 points.
