Wethersfield Has Dual Indoor Track Champion
The CIAC indoor track and field championships were conducted Thursday through Saturday at the Floyd Little Athletic Center in New Haven.
NEW HAVEN, CT — George Stoughton was a virtual one-man gang for Wethersfield High School, winning two individual events at the CIAC Class L boys indoor track and field championships at the Floyd Little Athletic Center.
Stoughton won the high jump by clearing 6 feet, 2 inches, then captured the long jump competition with a leap of 21 feet, 6.5 inches.
The championships were held Thursday through Saturday: Class L on Thursday, Class M on Friday and Classes LL and S on Saturday. Click the class headers for complete results.

The State Open will also take place at the Floyd Little Athletic Center on Saturday, Feb. 17.
