Wethersfield High Student Wins National Merit Scholarship

WETHERSFIELD, CT — A Wethersfield High School student earned college-sponsored National Merit Scholarships. More than 3,500 students from across the country were awarded with awards ranging from $500 and $2,000 annually for up to four years.

In total more than $31 million is awarded in National Merit Scholarships through college-sponsored programs and other awards.

Katherine Ginter won a scholarship from the University of Texas at Dallas. She plans to study speech/language pathology.
