Wethersfield Man Entered Cars, Punched Homeowner: Milford PD

The accuseds face several charges and were initially given $10,000 bonds, police said.

MILFORD, CT — A Wethersfield man and a Milford woman are accused of entering vehicles and one of the accused's punched a homeowner who had confronted the suspects, Milford police said.

On Aug. 15, police responded to Berwyn Street between Elbon and Fulton streets on a report of a possible robbery.

Investigation led to the arrests of Christopher Wenzloff, 29, of Wolcott Hill Road in Wethersfield and Leann Ciaramella, 33, of Milford Point Road, who are accused of "entering vehicles" in the area, police said.

"A homeowner saw this occurring, confronted Wenzloff who then punched the homeowner in the side of the face," police said in a news release. "While being taken into custody Ciaramella was found to be in possession of several pills and paraphernalia related to drug use."

Wenzloff and Ciaramella are both charged with criminal attempt at third-degree robbery, conspiracy to commit third-degree robbery, third-degree burglary, and conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary.

Wenzloff is also charged with second-degree breach of peace and Ciaramella is also charged with possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia.

They were both given $10,000 bonds.
