Wethersfield Man Sentenced In Fatal Shooting Case

A Wethersfield man found guilty of manslaughter in 2017 was sentenced Thursday.

WETHERSFIELD, CT — Noah Hendron, who was found guilty of manslaughter in November in connection with a 2017 Wethersfield shooting, has been sentenced to 20 years in prison, NBC CT reported.

Noah Hendron, now 20, was accused of waving around a gun at a friend's house in 2017 when the gun went off, killing 16-year-old Vincent Basile.

Prosecutors said two hours passed before the crime was reported to police. They also said Hendron threw the gun, a .38 caliber revolver, in a storm drain and fled the scene.
