Wethersfield Man Throws Knife In Road-Rage Incident: Report

A Wethersfield man was arrested on charges that he threw a knife at another driver during a road-rage incident in Massachusetts.

WETHERSFIELD, CT — A Wethersfield man has been arrested after he allegedly threw a knife at another driver during a road rage incident on the Mass Pike in Auburn, CBS Boston reported. Joshua Garrey, 26, was traveling westbound in a Jeep Wrangler and became enraged with a 22-year-old man driving a BMW 328.

The incident started when one driver cut off the other. Garrey is accused of throwing a knife through the BMW's open window, striking the 22-year-old man and his 23-year-old passenger, who are both from Middletown.

They suffered minor injuries, according to CBS Boston.

Garrey was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, following too closely, throwing an object on a highway, and failure to use care and caution, according to WFSB. He was released on $500 bond and will appear in Worcester District Court.
