Wethersfield Obituary: Estelle Kriticos, 70

Estelle (Tsitsibis) Kriticos, 70, of Wethersfield, beloved wife of the late Anthony Kriticos, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Friday, August 3, 2018.

Born in Hartford on September 14, 1947 she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Nezames) Tsitsibis. In their golden years, Estelle and her husband enjoyed trips to Florida and Niagara Falls. Estelle also enjoyed various arts and crafts activities, especially weekly ceramics classes led by her aunt. Estelle always enjoyed time at the beach, lounging in her swimming pool, and taking various road trips throughout New England with her closest friends.

A loving wife, mother and grandmother she will be dearly missed by her son, Cary Kriticos and his wife Daria of Cheshire; daughter, Chrissy Pikos and her husband Nick of Wethersfield and her four adored grandchildren, Gabriel, Alexander and Lukas Kriticos and Cristina Pikos.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 433 Fairfield Avenue, Hartford. Everyone is asked to please go directly to the church. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. Calling hours will be Wednesday, August 8, 2018 from 4-7 p.m. with a Trisagion Service at 5:00 p.m. at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield.
