Wethersfield Obituary: Roman Wasylkiw, 61

Roman Wasylkiw, 61, of South Windsor, previously of Rocky Hill and Wethersfield, passed away on June 10, after a long brave fight with cancer.

He was born and raised in Hartford, and predeceased by his parents, John and Anna, and brother Eugene. Roman was a compassionate and loving man who leaves behind his girlfriend of 35 years, Pauline Kendall, sisters Lesia Szewczuk, Irene Gancarz and husband Richard, niece Anya Majeski and husband Greg, nephews Christopher and Nicholas, and great nieces Sophia and Caroline.

Nobody will ever forget his ability to make people laugh with his quirky sense of humor.

Burial will be privately held by family.
