CT Record Store To Close After 40 Years In Business
A music store specializing in vinyl that opened in 1972 will close in January.
WETHERSFIELD, CT — Record store Integrity 'N Music, a Silas Deane fixture for more than four decades, will close Jan. 2, according to The Hartford Courant. Owner Ed Krech opened the store in 1972, when he decided to leave the corporate world and open a record store specializing in rock and jazz.
Faithful customers say that Krech offers something digital music can't—experience and deep knowledge of music. The store will have a going-out-of-business sale beginning Jan. 2, with two more live jazz concerts to be held Jan. 4.
