Wethersfield Schools Adopt Hybrid Model

The district is adopting a hybrid in-person and virtual learning model for the fall.

WETHERSFIELD, CT — Wethersfield schools will adopt a hybrid model of two days of class instruction and three days of remote learning per week, FOX 61 reported. District officials said there were challenges with facilitating the 6 feet of distance between students required.

Fifteen percent of families have opted for all remote learning. The district is considering hiring monitors to keep kids socially distanced on buses, as well as expanding before and after-school care options, according to FOX 61.
