Wethersfield State Aid Cut $1 Million in Malloy's Latest Plan
Wethersfield was slated to receive $10.5 million in state aid in fiscal year 2019; Now, if Malloy gets his way, town will get $9.52 million.

WETHERSFIELD, CT - The bad news keeps coming for Connecticut municipalities as the state attempts to claw out from under its budget mess.
Under Gov. Dannel P. Malloy's revised, proposed adjustments to the fiscal year 2019 budget previously adopted by the legislature state municipal aid would be cut nearly $100 million - both in the education and non-education side.
For Wethersfield, it would be a 10 percent cut from the previously approved $10.55 million total - to $9.52 million.
