Wethersfield Student Tests Positive For Coronavirus
The student was last in school on Friday. Those who were in contact with the student will be contacted by school or health officials.
WETHERSFIELD, CT — A student at Silas Deane Middle School tested positive for COVID-19, Wethersfield Superintendent Michael Emmett announced in a letter sent to parents.
The student was last in school on Friday, and is scheduled to quarantine at home for 14 days.
Those who were in contact with the student will be contacted by school or health officials. SDMS students were all home Wednesday for remote learning, and the school was deep cleaned and disinfected.
