Work To Resume On Water Main Project On Church And Nott Streets In Wethersfield

April 16, 2021

Effective the week of April 19th, the Metropolitan District (MDC) and their contractor Baltazar Contractors Inc., will resume work to perform restoration efforts for the water main project on Church and Nott Streets.

These activities include a full mill and overlay of the existing roadways and will include restoration of disturbed lawns, sidewalks, curbs and driveway aprons. The restoration work is estimated to be completed in approximately 4-6 weeks.

Work hours are generally Monday through Friday, 7:00* AM to 3:30 PM.
(*To reduce traffic impacts, there will be two days while working on the Silas Dean Hwy when work will begin at 4:00AM.)

Schedules are subject to change based on weather conditions and unforeseen construction activities.

MDC Staff, Contractors and Consultants must be properly identified and show ID upon request.
