15 Wilton Non-Profits To Vie For State Funding Program
The Board of Selectmen chose these 15 non-profits for consideration for state Neighborhood Assistance Act funding.
WILTON, CT — The town will be submitting 15 funding proposals for consideration by the 2020 State of Connecticut Neighborhood Assistance Act (NAA) Tax Credit program.
The Board of Selectmen made its decision on the proposals at its June 16 meeting.
The program is designed to provide funding for municipal and tax exempt organizations by providing a corporation business tax credit for businesses who make cash contributions to these non-profits. Businesses can receive a credit of 60 percent of their approved contribution to certain programs (or 100 percent in the case of certain energy conservation programs) approved by the Department of Revenue Services.
