The big parade kicks off Monday at 10 a.m., but it will have an effect on motorists in town before then.
WILTON, CT — The town has announced there will be a change to the road closures associated with the 2019 Wilton Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 27.
Starting at 9 a.m., River Road will be closed to traffic from Stop and Shop, south to Horseshoe Road to allow the parade floats and marchers to line up in the roadway. Those dropping marchers off for the parade must do so from the Route 33 (Ridgefield Road) side of Wilton Center after 9 a.m.
At approximately 9:30 a.m., the rest of the roads in the Town Center as well as Route 33 (Ridgefield Road) between Route 7 and Drum Hill Road will be closed as usual in preparation for a 10 a.m. parade start.
