Coronavirus Wilton: Barbers and Beauty Salon By App't Only
First Selectwoman Lynne Vanderslice has passed an order making barber, nail and beauty salon visits by appointment only.
WILTON, CT — In her first Executive Order following her declaration of a State of Emergency for the Town, First Selectwoman Lynne Vanderslice has ordered that all barbershop, nail and beauty salon visits be by appointment only.
The decision was made in consultation with Health Director Barrington Bogle and Emergency Management Director/Chief of Police John Lynch, according to the text of the order.
Vanderslice deemed the move necessary to "mitigate the local emergency in order to require social distancing and limit the interaction of potentially exposed persons" to the new coronavirus.
