DUI Arrest After Officer Notices Missing Tire: Wilton PD
The operator was found asleep at the wheel, police said.

WILTON, CT — A Trumbull man was arrested after he was found asleep at the wheel while intoxicated, according to police.
An officer on patrol Oct. 14 noticed that a car was missing a tire on Cedar Road.
The operator, Sylvester Jones, 76, was asleep at the wheel with the car running, police said. Jones refused to perform a field sobriety test and was placed under arrest. He also refused an alcohol breath test.

Jones was charged with DUI, operating under suspension and failure to drive right.
