Earth Day at Woodcock Nature Center Includes Exploration, Upcycling, Crafts & Fun!
The Wilton outdoor sanctuary will host an Earth Day celebration on April 22, 2016.

WILTON, CT — Woodcock Nature Center is planning an Earth Day Celebration on Friday, April 22.
Celebrate Earth Day with fun nature related activities:
- 9:30 – 10:30 am: Spring Exploration Walk: All ages are welcome to join staff on an explorative walk looking for signs of Spring’s arrival. Meet at the Nature Center building at 9:30 am. This event is free and no registration is required.
- 1:00 – 4:00 pm: Up-cycled Terrariums & Recycled Crafts: All ages are welcome to make an up-cycled terrarium or recycled crafts or both. Come between 1:00 – 4:00 pm. While you’re here feel free to hike our trails, explore our grounds or play on the natural playground. Nets will be available for scooping along the pond. Up-cycled Terrariums in our Pavilion - $10 payable day of the event. Bring your own vessel from home and make a one of a kind Up-cycled Terrarium.
- Recycled Crafts in the Nature Center: Free!
Woodcock Nature Center will have stations set up for all ages to make various crafts out of recycled materials.
The Woodcock Nature Center is a non-profit nature center located at 56 Deer Run Road in Wilton, Connecticut.
