Familial 'Harassment' on Bossy Lane

Wilton Police responded to two harassment cases last week.

 

A Wilton woman who lives on Bossy Lane reported to police that on October 1, some members of her family were harassing her because she’s getting married and doesn’t want infant children at her wedding.

The family members who were reportedly harassing her, police said, had infant children and wanted to know why they couldn’t bring them to the wedding.

Police said the woman received text messages six times, which didn't necessarily constitute harassment. 

Police spoke to all parties involved and they made amends. No charges were filed.

On Sept. 27 at 8:04 p.m., a woman, who lives on Danbury Road reported to police that the girlfriend of a man who is the father of the caller’s child was calling her and harassing her.

Police contacted the caller, who agreed to stop the harassment. No charges were filed.
