Groton Man Called In Bomb Threat To Wilton Business: Police

Police charged a Groton man with breach of peace after they say he called in a bomb threat to a Wilton business.

Christian Louis Mitchell, 20, of Burningtree Drive in Groton, threatened the staff of a Wilton business, and then a short time later called the business and threatened to bomb their building, according to the police.

GROTON, CT — Police charged a Groton man with breach of peace after they say he called in a bomb threat to a local business.

Christian Louis Mitchell, 20, threatened the staff of a Wilton business, and then a short time later called the business and threatened to bomb their building, according to the police report.

Investigators were able to swiftly track Mitchell to Groton and apprehended him in his residence on Burningtree Drive.

Mitchell was charged with first- and second-degree threatening, and breach of peace. He is being held on a $50,000 bond and is appeared before Norwalk Superior Court on Thursday.
