The National Weather Service issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for tonight. Here are the details on the advisory.

The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for all of Southern Connecticut for tonight. The weather service says because of the warm temps a lot of the snow melt, but temps are going to go below the freezing mark, which could make things very slippery for both pedestrians and motorists.

"As temperatures fall below freezing tonight, there is the potential for any snow melt or residual moisture from last nights precipitation to form black ice on untreated surfaces," the National Weather Service says.

said, "Snow melting fast today w/sun & temps in the 40s, Get ready for record warm temps by Tuesday and Wednesday. Tomorrow will be the transition day with increasing clouds, rain showers by the evening hours. Once the warm front moves north of Connecticut, temps take off Tuesday!"

President's Day will warm up to a high temp near 50 degrees but there will also be a 50 percent chance of rain. Temps wail approach 60 degrees on Tuesday and be in the low 60s on Wednesday. While the temps are warm this week, there will be a lot of clouds and a chance for rain on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Thursday, and Friday. On Friday there is a slight chance of snow showers in the morning. Sadly, there is no long periods of sun in the forecast through next Sunday.

But the temps will remain very warm through the end of February.
