Man, 76, Accidentally Shoots Self in Left Hand

A 76-year-old man shot himself in the left hand after he discharged a round accidentally while visiting family at a residence on Ridgefield Road on March 31. He was driven to Norwalk Hospital by his wife. The man’s firearm was registered and he had a valid pistol permit.
