Man Had Mushrooms, Pot With Children In Tow: Wilton Police

WILTON, CT —A Danbury man was found with marijuana and hallucinogenic mushrooms with two children inside the car after he was stopped on Danbury Road Tuesday morning.

Police said another driver reported he was run off the road by Dillard on Nov. 7.

When police found Dillard, they smelled marijuana in his car and later found both the drugs and children.

Police said Dillard was charged with possession of hallucinogenics, possession of less than one-half ounce of marijuana, risk of injury to a child and other charges.

Dillard was given a $1,000 bond and is due in court on Nov. 17.
