Mrs. Green’s To Open in Wilton this Fall

Wilton, get ready for a new organic and natural food market. Westchester-based Mrs. Green’s Natural Market will be opening a location in the former Zeytinia’s Market spot come early fall.

“We’re coming to Wilton,” confirmed Zane Phifer, the regional construction manager for Natural Markets Food Group, the parent company for Mrs. Green’s.

“We’re very excited about it. We’re in the process of demolition right now but it’s really fantastic site, and it will be looking good when it opens,” Phifer added.

According to the Mrs. Green’s website, the chain is described as, “your one stop for natural, organic food and supplements. We carry a huge selection of wheat free, dairy free, vegan, low carb, kosher products, etc. We carry only the freshest, certified organic produce. We believe that assisting our customers is our primary job.”

Most of the Mrs. Green’s stores are located in New York, with two Connecticut locations in Fairfield and Stamford.

Phifer said he soon plans to hang poster boards with floor plans and illustrations in the windows of the location, so that future customers can see what the store will look like.

Mrs. Green's will be located at the Gateway Shopping Center, at 14 Danbury Rd.
