Police Arrest Man for DUI After He Was Caught Speeding

Wilton police arrested a Norwalk man for DUI after he was seen speeding on Rt. 7.

WILTON, CT — Wilton police said they arrested a Norwalk man after he was seen straddling the center line of the road. According to police, John Medor, 48, was observed speeding on Danbury Road neat Catalpa Road in Wilton and when officers pulled him over he was found to be under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.

Medor was arrested on Nov. 13, 2016 just before midnight, taken into custody and given a bond of $250 and held at police headquarters. He was arrested for illegally operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, traveling unreasonalbly fast, failure to drive right and illegally operating a motor vehicle without minimum insurance.

He is next due in court on Dec. 6, 2016.
