WILTON, CT — Police have charged a Stamford man with larceny.

Robert Dametric Moore, of Hanrahan Street in Stamford, was one of four who opened bank accounts with Bankwell Bank and then used fraudulent funds to make deposits to their accounts and quickly withdrawal the funds, according to the police report.

Norwalk Superior Court issued arrest warrants for these subjects, who would end up with bank accounts with negative balances based on the fraudulent funds. The Wilton Police Department charged Moore on Feb. 5, and expects to make additional arrests in the future, according to Det. Scott Sear.
