WILTON, CT — It's looking like it will be another dreary weekend coming up, with rain and thunderstorms in the forecast on both Friday evening and Saturday. The rainy weekend will bring seasonably lower temperatures, with highs in the low 80s and lows in the low 60s even creeping into the upper 50s.
However, things look to clear up for a comfortable Sunday with a high in the low 80s. According to the National Weather Service, here is a look at what you can expect weather-wise in Wilton.
- Friday: Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Patchy fog before 10am. Otherwise, cloudy, with a high near 79. South wind 5 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
- Friday Night: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 69. Southwest wind 8 to 13 mph.
- Saturday: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 2pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 82. West wind around 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
- Saturday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers before 8pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 63.
- Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 80.
