Riverbook Regional YMCA Welcomes New Director of Healthy Living
Welcome, Rhoda Kasparek!
The Riverbook Regional YMCA is pleased to announce Rhoda Kasparek as Director of Healthy Living. Rhoda has been a valued employee of the YMCA since 2017, where she excelled as a personal trainer and working with cancer survivors through the YMCA Livestrong program.
With nearly 15 years of experience working with clients of all ages and abilities, Rhoda expertise includes customized workouts tailored to individual needs, pre-and post-natal fitness, 5K-marathon training, and sport-specific conditioning. Rhoda will oversee Healthy Living and Fitness activities at the Y, including the launch this Fall of customized programs like conditioning clinics for runners and programming for teenagers to build strength while reducing injury.
“I’m thrilled to take on this new role as Director of Healthy Living,” said Kasparek. “Watching our Y transform to great dimensions while constantly pivoting to meet the needs of the community has been inspiring. The New Athletic Training Center and Fitness Center provide a safe, welcoming environment while exceeding the originally designed capabilities. I look forward to welcoming more members back to these remarkable spaces and inviting everyone to explore our numerous Healthy Living classes and programs that are resuming in full force!”
