UPDATE: Storm Closes Roads In Wilton
The Town of Wilton is warning of road closures due to the storm.
WILTON, CT — The Town of Wilton is warning of road closures due to the storm:
The Department of Public Works and Eversource have been notified of the following blocked roads and will attend to them as soon as possible, according to a statement from Wilton officials:
- Wolfpit Road near Wolfpit Lane one lane is blocked
- Thayer Pond Road in the area of #360 is closed
- School Road near Middlebrook Farm Road is now clear
- Old Boston Road near #95 is closed
- Huckleberry Hill Road at the New Canaan town line is closed
If a road is blocked and is not on this list please, residents should call the Police Department non-emergency number, 203-834-6260. Motorists are advised to all downed wires are "live" and avoid them.

As of 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, 167 Wilton residents, or 2.22 percent of the town, are still without power, according to Eversource.
