Three Hospitalized After Wilton Crash: Police
Police said an elderly woman was among those injured.

WILTON, CT — Three people were hospitalized after a teenage driver crashed into a car on Danbury Road and School Street Sunday afternoon. Police said the juvenile driver tried to take a left on to school street and crashed into an oncoming car.
An elderly woman, 73-year-old New York resident Janet Gelfand, was in the juvenile's car, and police said she was unable to get out of the car due to her injuries.
The driver of the other vehicle, 27-year-old Bethel resident George Fernandes, complained of neck pain and was also taken to the hospital.

The juvenile's parents said they would be taking her to the hospital. She was charged with failure to grant the right of way to oncoming traffic.
