April 19th - "Happy Patriot’s Day. It appears to be a little-known fact, but you no longer need to be in Massachusetts to celebrate. In 2017, Connecticut officially adopted the holiday. Earlier this evening, The Drum Hill Chapter of the DAR, joined by an Honor Guard from American Legion Post, James B. Whipple Post 86, held a ceremony honoring the 43 Patriots buried at the Hillside, Comstock Hill and Sharp Hill cemeteries. Many of the names were recognizable.

At today’s press conference, the Governor announced the following restriction rollbacks, subject to low incidences and improved vaccine rates.

- Curfew pushed back from 11:00pm to midnight
- Outdoors: Alcohol can be served without food. No restrictions on table size
Beginning May 19th:
- All remaining business restrictions eliminated
- DPH to issue new guidance for large indoor and outdoor events
- Masks to continue to be required indoors

Vaccine & Case Information
As of last Monday, April 12th, 84% of eligible Wilton residents had received at least one dose of the vaccine. Today’s rate will be released on Thursday.
