Visions for Vacancies: 830 Danbury Road

The recently renovated shop building still sits empty.

Vacant buildings are a problem for a community. Patch wants to know what you think the solution can be.

In our occasional series Visions for Vacancies we’ll look at vacant businesses and buildings in Wilton and surrounding areas to see what our readers want to see move into their community.

Today, we’re looking at commercial space located in the front of 830 Danbury Road, just a few feet off of Route 7. According to meeting minutes from a July 2009 Zoning Board of Appeals meeting, the space used to serve as a car repair shop and a Getty gas station, but those businesses went under.
