Strange weather day. A lot of Connecticut will see snowflakes throughout the morning until around noon and then the snow returns this evening, but fortunately we’re into April and the snowflakes will be more for show then worry.

After we get past Monday, there is no snow in the forecast, and is it safe to assume we’re done with snow until next winter.

While the snow chances end for at least now, Mother Nature is keeping a lid on temperatures this week. It’s going to feel like winter several days this week, and we could drop into the teens late Tuesday.

Here is a detailed looked at the forecast via the National Weather Service:

  • Monday: It remains all snow here until early Monday afternoon and an inch or possibly two inches of snow could accumulate before the change to rain later this afternoon. And the snow returns this evening and up to a half inch of additional snow is possible here.
  • Tuesday: Sunshine but temps won’t even hit 40 degrees and the wind will make it feel like 10 degrees!
  • Tuesday night: Temps into the upper teens.
  • Wednesday: Sunshine and back into the mid 40s.
  • Thursday: Showers and temps rising into the mid 50s.
  • Friday: Mostly cloudy and temps near 50 degrees.
  • Saturday and Sunday: It feels cold both days with temps in the low to mid 40s both days. At least there will be sunshine and no snow.
