How did you come up with the name?

It is a spin-off of my nursing agency which I started in Wilton over 10 years ago. Being a multi-specialty certified RN,(CCRN, CNOR, CRNFA) I realized that all stages of life require a rebirth, or renaissance. Whether it be skills or skin cells.

Why choose that location? Why start a business in this town?

My family has been living in Wilton for over 12 years. I believe in bringing my knowledge and excellence to my home town.

Briefly, what business are you in?

Natural and organic womens, mens, babies, pets organic face, body and home care.

What’s the most difficult moment or challenge you’ve faced as a business owner?

Landlords that make promises, but do not know the town ordinances, or care. Poor signage options in Historic downtown, cell phones (No one looks up anymore). **People knowing that I’m up here!!!**

Were there any challenges that made you second guess your decision to be an entrepreneur?

Unknown income... People not appreciating my gregarious persona. I am from the Bronx after all.

What’s been your favorite moment or proudest achievement since opening?

People who call, come in, or write to me via FB, like this morning, who tell me: “My son’s skin looks 1,000 times better this morning. He even said, Mommy this feels good. Thank you so much.” Or, “My friends cannot believe how great my skin looks! I rocked my reunion!” These are the moments I live for.

What’s the most innovative idea your employees or customers have had that you put into practice?

In addition to organic spray tans, I now offer “organic hands-on tanning.” No more aerosolization of particulate matter to breathe.

How do you deal with difficult customers?

Smile and continue with good, honest service.

How does your business give back or get involved in the community?

I donate to many of Wilton’s civic and school organizations.
