The Wilton Congregational Church recently donated $250 to Housatonic Habitat for Humanity to support the non-profit’s mission of providing affordable housing to first-time home buyers in the Greater Danbury area.
Housatonic Habitat for Humanity Executive Director Fran Normann acknowledged The Wilton Congregational Church’s commitment to work-force housing. The congregation has been a supporter since the local Habitat chapter was formed in 1991.
Housatonic Habitat for Humanity focuses on making a meaningful difference in the lives of qualified working families by promoting financial stability and self-sufficiency through ownership of affordable homes. Households often consist of those who have limited assets and who have jobs that also have income caps.
