WILTON, CT — As the world awoke with many in shock and others in awe, some are wondering how Donald Trump won this election. Statewide, 386,782 registered voters reported to the polls, according to the Secretary of the State's website. So far 38 of 169 towns have partially reported results and 117 of 169 completely reported results. Click here for the most up to date information.

  • In Wilton, 58.29 percent of voters, 6,055, voted for Clinton and Kaine.
  • Trump and Pence received 36.42 percent of the vote with 3,783 ballots cast.
  • Johnson and Weld received 411 votes.
  • Stein and Baraka received 111 votes.

  • Richard Blumenthal received 5,474 votes compared to Dan Carter's 4,493.
