Wilton Fourth of July Fireworks 2017: Details and More

Here is what you need to know about the Fourth of July fireworks display at Wilton High School.

WILTON, CT — The 4th of July fireworks celebration at Wilton High School is planned for July 4, 2017. The Fourth of July celebration will feature a series of events planned by the Wilton Parks & Recreation Department.

Schedule:

  • 8:30 a.m.: Freedom Run Road Race
  • 12 p.m.: Republicans vs. Democrats Softball Game
  • 5 p.m.: Dance to the Music
  • 9:30 p.m. Fireworks

Road Closures

The following are road closures according to the Wilton Parks and Recreation website.

  • Beginning at 6 p.m.: Rte. 7 between Pimpewaug Road and Cannon Road will be one lane. Non fireworks vehicle traffic will be detoured
  • Beginning at 6:00 p.m.: School Road will be closed to general vehicle traffic from Rte. 7 to the Middlebrook School. Catalpa Road will be the only access point into the area from Rte. 7.
