WILTON, CT --- The venerable Wilton Garden Club will be hosting their 79th annual Mother's Day sale on Friday, May 11, from noon to 6 p.m. and Saturday, May 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Over 10,000 perennials, native and pollinator plants, trees and flowering shrubs, annuals, wildflowers, grasses, groundcovers, organically grown vegetables and herbs, award-winning dahlias, tropical cannas, hanging baskets, patio planters will be available. Plant experts will be on hand all day, and there is free admission. The sale will be held at Wilton Town Green, 101 Old Ridgefield Road in Wilton.
Early birds who want first dibs on unique annuals, succulents, herbs, hanging baskets, patio planters, and Mother’s Day flower baskets are being advised to hit up the club's plant pre-sale on Wednesday, May 9, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at Wilton Garden Club’s Greenhouse, Comstock Community Center, 180 School Road,in Wilton. Admission is free.
