Kids ages 8 - 12 are invited to join this crafting class hosted by Fiona Conway. Fiona is an upcoming 11th grade Girl Scout completing her Gold Award. Kids will make crafts out of recycled materials that you find around the house that would otherwise be thrown away and contribute to pollution. Held via Zoom, Thursdays, July 8 through Aug. 26 (no session Aug. 19). Register for each individual class. Start gathering and saving materials for the next couple weeks including egg cartons, cardboard, scrap paper, popsicle sticks, used straws, and anything else you think could be used in a craft. July 8 craft is with egg cartons. Fiona will email parents before classes each week to update on materials we will need for that week. Any other materials may include pipe cleaners, glue, markers or paint, but each craft can be personalized so no specific thing is required. Registration required. Zoom link will be sent the day of the program. Email Fiona at fionaconwaygs@gmail.com with any questions. Please visit www.wiltonlibrary.org to register.
