Wilton Man Arrested for Stealing Jim Beam
Police say he stole seven bottles of bourbon from Ancona's.

A 26-year-old Wilton man was charged with seven counts of sixth-degree larceny after he allegedly stole seven bottles of Jim Beam from Ancona’s Wine & Liquors between January and March.
Police said surveillance tape revealed Brian Schoonmaker, of Catalpa Road, concealing the bottles and leaving the store with them. Each bottle was valued at $18.99.
Schoonmaker turned himself in on a warrant on March 29.

A 16-year-old female was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following a motor vehicle stop on River Road, near Old Ridgefield Road on March 27.
According to police, officers detected the odor of marijuana after the stop. The teen turned over her purse to police, who found a small amount of marijuana and a pipe.
She was referred to the youth division for further investigation.
