Wilton Moves Closer to Top of Field Hockey Poll

The Warriors advanced a spot in the latest weekly high school coaches poll.

WILTON, CT — For the third straight week, Staples High School captured all eight first-place votes to unanimously lead the weekly poll of Connecticut field hockey coaches.

The Wreckers have overwhelmed opponents by a 66-3 scoring margin in their initial 10 victories. Wilton and Cheshire flip-flopped positions two and three.

Here are the top 10, including last week's ranking, plus all other schools receiving votes.
